The classic in the style of the kohlrabi gratin – cream, mustard, Gouda, done.

Ingredients

  • 600 g broccoli
  • 500 g chicken breast
  • 80 g onion
  • 10 g olive oil
  • 200 g cream
  • 100 g stock
  • 10 g mustard
  • 150 g Gouda
  • 5 g spices

Preparation

  1. Cut the broccoli into florets, blanch for 4 minutes, rinse in cold water and drain.
  2. Sear the diced chicken with the diced onion in the olive oil and season.
  3. Mix the cream, broth and mustard and season to taste.
  4. Put everything into a baking dish, pour the sauce over it and sprinkle with the Gouda.
  5. Bake at 180 °C fan (356 °F) for about 30 minutes until golden brown.

Under 8 g of carbohydrates per serving with over 40 g of protein – a typical dinner that barely moves blood sugar and keeps you full for a long time.
