The note lists spaghetti ice cream (27 g), salted caramel (24 g) and 400 g yoghurt (14 g), totalling 65 g carbohydrate. Two hours later came a Disney ride, 30 minutes of rock, 20 minutes of recovery and a 10-minute cooldown.
More training does not automatically create more research is available
The block combined duration and different intensities. Glucose reached 113 mg/dl in the observation window. It is not possible to tell which ride contributed what, or what would have happened without exercise.
How I will document repeats
Single, clearly bounded sessions are more useful than several rides back to back. I will record the value before each main, recovery and cooldown section and watch whether a later rise starts during the block.
Safety
Long exercise blocks may carry different risks for people using insulin or glucose-lowering medication. Corrections should follow an agreed clinical plan.

The values in this article come from my own sensor (FreeStyle Libre 3) and are a single-case observation (n = 1) – they show a pattern in me, not a rule for you. Every statement is labelled as established, plausible or open, and proximity in time never counts as proof of a cause. How I handle time windows, sensor lag, influencing factors and approval is collected on one page. Read the methodology
