What is inside – and what it means for blood sugar
Magnesium and glucose metabolism
As with the NATURTREU counterpart: the connection between magnesium status and insulin sensitivity is well documented; a supplementation benefit shows mainly with a proven deficiency , not with good supply .
On the composition
400 mg elemental magnesium per daily dose from five compounds (citrate, oxide, bisglycinate, malate, ascorbate). 400 mg corresponds roughly to the recommended daily intake for adult men – so the product covers the entire daily requirement, which should be considered alongside dietary intake.
Mixing different salts makes sense: it distributes absorption across different routes and improves gastric tolerance compared with pure oxide.
Keeping interactions in mind
The most common side effect at too high a dose is loose stools. With renal insufficiency only after medical consultation.
What can sensibly be measured
No CGM test sensible. More relevant: magnesium status in the laboratory and subjective recovery – especially with regular Peloton training and sweating.
All of my own measurements are labelled as a single-case observation (n=1) and cannot be transferred to other people.
